If the driver does stop, move hastely, but not too fast. if they stopped far ahead run to the car, but otherwise stay calm. Keep smiling. Remember to take it nice and slow. Though this might have been your first pick-up all day, the drive might be frightened if you come off too quick or open. Then again openness may be the thing for you. It's your call... use your instincts.
