It's quite hard to hitch directly from Quebec city in direction east by the south bank of the St-Lawrence. One should cross St-Lawrence River using Québec-[[Lévis]] Ferry [http://www.traversiers.gouv.qc.ca/trav/quebec/index.asp (Web Site)] which is 2,65$CAN. From there, either walk or hitch the 5 km directly South to highway [[Quebec highways|A-20]] (near the Walmart). This entrance is a good one and you'll generally meet people going further than those you would meet trying to get out via the bridges.
