How to use this Template?
For using this template, copy&paste the following code to the top of the German city article you want to edit.

How to fill in the stuff
After adding the code, you can fill in the information. Remember to fill in the English name of the state, if you're not sure, just leave it blank so that another hitchhiker can edit it. pop = population of the city, plate = licence plate of the region/city; and motorways the motorways nearby the city.

Note: This template automatically sorts the page on which it is used in the appropriate category of the german federal state by the parameter “state”. Also it automatically adds the breadcrumb navigation (Template:IsIn). So you save two redundant mentions of the state's (“Bundesland”) name...
