Kara Dere is the name of a beach on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria, close to the town of Byala north-west of Burgas.

It is (one of?) the last wild beaches in Bulgaria where you'll find many people "wild" camping. The only place there is a small kiosk, selling drinks. Walking distance from the next town is about 2km. There is a fresh water source nearby.

Location of the 2011 and the 2022 European Hitchgathering.
