The highway no longer passes through Trebnje, so taking the train there isn't such a good option
If you really can't get a lift out, the train is fairly cheap- €17.90 €16,00 one-way to Zagreb and lasts 2.5 hours. The last Trains are scheduled at:#06:35 #08:15 - this train on Saturday is 9.15pm- can take you as far as I recall from experienceBelgrade.#14:45#18:35
