[[user:Damaniacle|Damaniacle]] tried to hitch at the motorway entrance, but ended up hitchhiking right before the toll, and nobody bothered him. But this may have been a fluke.
[[user:Frida|Frida]] hitchhiked with her friend coming from Belgium. They started looking for English drivers /cars going to England at a petrol station close to Gent and were successfull withing 15min. Their driver took the ferry from Dunkerque to Calais and they had no problems. The ferry from there take only cars and the amount of passangers (obvioulsy not beyond car capacity) don't pay extra.
