A few kilometers after the péage the motorway splits, with most traffic going on to Montpellier and no way to drop you. Therefore a sign reading ''direction Foix'' is essential.<br />
If the driver is not going all the way to Foix or Andorra, he might be able to drop you off at the péage ''Pamiers'', from which one can easily continue on.

It's one of the options, I guess there can be also others.
At egde of city, excatly in half-an-hour or bit more walking distance from the center along the street Route de Seysses. It will cross with the street Av du General Eisenhower. You can check the busstop maps on the way not to get lost. Standing with sign A64 might help.
