When you crossed the border after Hengelo it changes into the A30, you will follow that road until you hit Berlin. You follow the road through Osnabruck and Hannover. The most tricky part is the first part since there is no petrol station before Osnabruck. If your driver goes into the direction of Bremen or Hamburg, you can stay with them though and get off at the first service-station after Osnabruck to the North (!). This service-station has a bridge, and from the other side you can often find drivers going to Hannover or all the way to Berlin
Another option is the rest area Brockbachtal before OsnabruckOsnabrück, it's not a gas station but it can be quite busy at times (also because of lack of gas station on the highway). Additional, the on-ramp OS-Nahne some kilometers further can be useful if your driver only goes to Osnabrück, there lots of traffic goes from OS to Hannover.
