Larisa is a city in Greece.
Larisa is the capital of Thessaly region. Around the city you can find good spots to hitch out, as it is very close to the national motorway that connects Athens and Thessaloniki. It gets really hot in summer and really cold in winter. It rarely rains. The city is most probably famous for the nightlife, the shopping opportunities and its fountains. The river is situated next to Pineios river. You can find some parks to rest, especially around the river and near the train station.

North towards Thessaloniki
You can see the spot here. You have to get to Volos street (Odos Volu). Once you reach this street, after passing the train line, 300 m away you see a big way with 2 lines each direction. You turn left and you go to the opposite side. 50 meters after the church is the spot.
South towards Athens
You have to get to Volos street (Odos Volu). Once you reach this street, after passing the train line, 300 m away you see a big way with 2 lines each direction. You turn right and you go on, 500m away, after you pass the train line over the bridge on your right is the spot, in front of the bank. Here is the link to the spot.
East towards Volos

West towards Trikala

In the city there are a lot of hotels but not hostels. Possible is to sleep at the train station. Also in a green places where the highest spot of the city is, up from the ancient theatre, in Frurio area.
