Removed pointless advice ("take a bus to AKL airport for $20" - really? This is Hitchwiki...). Huntly advice for going North not hat great either. Adding some options without leaving town that need verification

Walk back into the direction you came from one , to the intersection with ''Keruru St'', and turn left onto it. From there, you'll already see the Z petrol station on the northbound side of town the State Hwy. Hitch from the petrol station; to be more visible to traffic that doesn't need to fill up, you can also go up the road a bit further, where the othershoulder widens enough for someone to stop before one lane turns into two lanes.
