Oaxaca shares borders with [[Guerrero]] to the west, [[Puebla]] to the northwest, [[Veracruz]] to the north, and [[Chiapas]] to the east. [[Huatulco]] and [[Puerto Escondido]] are popular beach destinations at the Pacific Coast of the state. Hitching is very easy in the touristy places by the Pacific coast, a bit harder in the mountains and around Oaxaca City, and maybe even a bit harder in the Istmo.
