I am Kyle: 23 years old and living in the [[United States]]. I hitchhike because it is an affordable mode of transportation which lends itself to a minimalist lifestyle of adventure and exploration. My goal is to develop a working mental map of North American geography through direct exploration of trails, navigable waterways, and roadside landscapes. I accomplish this on foot, by kayak, and especially by hitchhiking. I began hitchhiking regularly in 2011. Half of my time is spent traveling and the other half working Occasionally I stop to fund my travels. I am currently work in [[Williston]], [[North Dakota]]. If you are passing through here pay me a visit! I will be around until April 2014to save up money for my travels.
