Talk:Cold climate safety

I have met one or two Russian hitch hikers who have travelled in the middle of winter, sleeping in tents, and lived to tell the tale. I have not got the experience to give decent information, only what I learned in Duke of Edinburgh's award scheme and what a few other people told me.
