Ferrara is a city in Italy.

Hitching Out

South/East towards Ravenna

Follow Via Ravenna, cross the railway track and continue until you get to the roundabout where you have Via Alberto Marvelli on the left side and Via Richard Wagner on the right. Continue on Via Ravenna which now also is called SS16. After the roundabout you will see a gas station and a sign that shows that you're leaving Ferrara (the text Ferrara has a line across it). I picked a spot between that sign and the gas station. After 40 minutes I was picked up and taken to Ravenna. This was in october, so you might have better success in the summer time.
