The above statement is in direct disagreement with [http://www.digihitch.com/usa87.html], which cites the Nevada Revised Statutes 484.065. That said, both opinions caution to beware of cops and some digihitch commenters go so far as to say they have been ticketed (though maybe for hitching incorrectly... who knows).
In Nevada you can go to jail for being high on marijuana. A D.U.I. is a misdemeanor, but "internal possession" is a felony even if you don't have any on you. ri-donkulous.
