Hitching Out
To get out of Lorient, best spot may be at Lanester. Take a bus from city center to Parc des Expos, abt 3 km east , line 31, 40, 24 . Centre commercial Geant where you have Parc des Expos / McDonalds. Just after the big roundabout, entering highway in direction of Vannes / Nantes / Rennes, you will find good location where cars can see you and easily pull over . it has always worked for me in less than 20 mn. Its a bit more complicated in direction of Quimper/ west.
