Be prepared with enough supplies as the highway is usually a bit away from the towns.
== Hitching Hitchhiking from Lake Louise to Jasper ==Get out of the town, following the signs pointing to the highway. Cross the bridge (be careful, lots of traffic, no pedestrian crossing) and get to the gateway of the highway. There will not be THAT much traffic, but chances are you get picked up. Don't choose only a 20km ride from there. You might end up in the middle of nowhere. Choose a long ride, as theres practically noghting between Lake Luise and Jasper, only one gas station at the point where you can catch David Thomson HWY -11- to Red Deer.
