Hitchiking Out
Northeast towards Phnom Penh by National Road 3
From Durian Roundabout walk north along National Road 33 to the point where it merges with National Road 3, you will get more traffic at this point. However there will be still a lot of local traffic here so it's better to continue north to leave that traffic behind. There will be a few advertising banners across the main road which provide shadow, the first one is roughly 1.2km from the roundabout. From there it should be easy to get a ride all the way to Phnom Penh, especially with a sign. The road is in good condition and nearly half of it was upgraded to a dual carriageway in 2022.
