Michendorf's Raststätte is not recommendable Try the recommendations for going West[[Berlin]] and take a train there. You would need to go South first It is cheap enough and try to switch on another rest stationabsolutely worth it. A good place should be the Raststätte Grunewald.
I would suggest taking a train to Berlin and hitchhiking from there. It might be worth trying to ask at gas stations close to the on ramp in Raststätte Michendorfis not advisable for going West.
