Yakhroma (Russian: Яхрома) is a city about 55 km north of Moscow, located in the Dmitrovsky district of Moscow Oblast in Russia.

Hitchhiking out
South towards Moscow via A104
Option 1 - General Kuznetsov Square
Take any bus to General Kuznetsov Square. Walk over the Yakhroma river bridge, turn right at the traffic light, and hitch near the gas station.
North towards Dubna via A104
Option 1 - General Kuznetsov Square
Again, from General Kuznetsov Square. After crossing the Yakhroma river bridge, turn left towards the House of Culture. Immediately after, there is an underpass to the stadium. After exiting the underpass, turn left and hitchhike at the turn under the car bridge at the end of the guardrail. Do not go directly under the bridge—cars accelerate there and are harder to stop.
North towards Dmitrov
Option 1 - 2nd Moscow Street
2nd Moscow Street leads this way. Minibuses to Dmitrov depart every 10 minutes. To try your luck hitchhiking, go in the same direction as towards Dubna, but hitch directly on the bridge. If you have time and good weather, consider walking over the bridge and enjoying the canal and the monument at Peremilovskaya Height.
