At the verkeersplein near the Waalbrug (direction [[Arnhem]]) there is a liftershalte. However, at the petrol station on the A325 almost everybody is going to Arnhem, so if you want to go beyond, you don't want to get a ride from someone merely going towards Arnhem (unless it's raining).
As of Summer 2015, the boss of the shell petrol station on the A325 between Nijmegen and Arnhem does not allow hitchhikers on the property, and the employees enforce this policy. [[User:justinkiene]] was immediately kicked out and made to stand behind the station in the rain. Still a decent spot, but not for bad weather.
