West towards Novorossiysk via M4 "Don"

The DPS police post is located near the Severnaya (Northern) district, 500 meters from the exit stela. Nearby are bus stops for bus numbers 3, 103, 199 and marshrutkas 12B, 14, 31. Go as far as School No. 8.
"Western Ring" – roundabout at the city’s western entrance on Lunacharskogo Street. Bus stop "Bobrukova Schel", buses 3, 5, 103, 199. Marshrutkas 7, 12, 14, 16, 17, 22, 40.
"Central Interchange" – near the Central (New) bus terminal, intersection of Ob'ezdnaya and Kirova streets. City buses 2, 6. Marshrutkas 13, 13A, 48.

East towards Goryachy Klyuch, Krasnodar via M4 "Don", also to Tuapse

Hitchhiking in

The through highway runs just above Gelendzhik. To leave, you need to get to this highway.
If you want to go towards Divnomorskoe, you can leave the city by bus or marshrutka, which goes to the final stop on Ostrovskogo Street. Walk a bit further up the street and there is a place suitable for hitchhiking.
If heading towards Novorossiysk, it is recommended to get to the police post, which is also near the turn to the cemetery. Drivers often slow down there.

The Gelendzhik airport completed a major reconstruction of its terminal in 2021, but was closed for an indefinite period in 2022. The nearest functioning airports are in Adler and Mineralnye Vody.
There is unlikely to ever be a railway station in Gelendzhik. The closest one is in Novorossiysk.
