There's a gas station some meter before the crossing. You'll also find a bus stop where you can stand on, or just pull out your thumb on the hard shoulder next to the street. A sign saying the direction might be helpful.

'''Getting out of the town.'''

Take one of following busses from city:

'''A1 Advedøre:''' toVigerslevvej, take the walking path across lawn or green area and you’ll get out where Folehaven runs into Highway21/Motorvej21

'''10 Flintholm St., 133 Avedøre St., 65E Avedøre St.''': To Folehaven, there’s a busstop by a gasstation just before it runs into the Highway, that’s where you get off.

'''Best place to hitch a ride.'''

The busstop by the Gasstaion, right before Folehaven runs into Highway 21 / Motorvej 21, is the best spot. You’ll be visible to the cars hold for red light at the stoplight right in front, and the busstop and gasstation makes it easy for the driver to pull over.

East towards Malmö, Sweden

On the road to Malmo, leading to the bridge, you might be able to hitch a ride. Drivers are wary though, and maybe you should try getting a ride with a sign "I don't carry drugs". There's also a good spot on the map next to this text :-)

West towards Roskilde, South towards Rødby, Germany

Take the bus #A1 Advedøre to Vigerslevvej. There' you'll see the crossing to Folehaven which is the beginning of the highway 21. Additionally you can take to following busses also going that direction. Make sure you get out at Folehaven/Vigerslevvej: bus #10 Flintholm St., #133 Avedøre St., #65E Avedøre St. There's a gas station some meter before the crossing. You'll also find a bus stop where you can stand on, or just pull out your thumb on the hard shoulder next to the street. A sign saying the direction might be helpful.
