I'm from Portugal, I have hitch-hiked quite a few times, some from necessity and other for fun.

The first ride I took was in the snowy south of Poland because I lost the last bus. I had no idea how to hitch-hiked and how difficult would it be. It was an incredible experience, since then I have discovered this website and hitch-hiked a bunch of times.

I have met the best and most diverse people in my rides.
