Grew up out in the middle of the woods in Southern, Vermont, the offspring of two now settled travelers. One full blooded ‘Merican whilst the other was fresh off the boat, or rather plane at this time period, from crossing the pond. Started hitch hiking myself in my early teens in order to go all the way into the nearest town miles and miles away even though I usually ended up walking the entire distance because often only one or no cars what-so-ever would pass me during my travels. -Socrates802
