Schwerte is a town in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located in the Ruhr Area in the west of the country.
Hitchhiking out
North, East, South towards Hamburg, Osnabrück, Münster, Cologne, Hannover, Berlin
From the town center, take bus #R50 to Lichtendorf Pötschke. From there you will see a large service area on the motorway, which is great for any direction. When going East or North, you will have to jump a little creek and climb through some bushes. For West/South, just cross the motorway at the tunnel and walk along the road. The service area has a road connection.
