San Marino is a country-microstate inside Italy.

Because of it's extremely small size and with most of the area being the city zone of the towns Dogana and the City of San Marino, hardly anyone would hitch-hike on the roads there: one can cross the whole country by foot within 2 hours. However, one might to think to hitch to Italy from there: there is a lot of traffic to Rimini from San Marino. Hitch-hiker Sigurdas got a lift from San Marino to Italy within 15 minutes.
