M8 (Russia)

M8 is a major trunk road in Russia, that links Moscow to Arkhangelsk via Yaroslavl and Vologda. After Vologda it is very rarely populated, you will find only some villages every 15-20 km and low traffic. Easy to hitch a long distance (well, not longer than 600 km, as the road ends in Arkhangelsk) trucks.
