Hitchhiking out

East towards Gibraltar, Malaga

Walk to the Northeastern exit (towards LIDL) and stand with a sign at the roundabout. Cars will slow down due to humps at the zebra stripes and they can easily stop. Perfect spot - for Gibraltar and likely further to Málaga!

To Tangier

There are frequent passenger ferries to Tangier from Tarifa (up to 15 daily). Considering that it's a mere 14 kilometer trip that takes 35 minutes the price (37 €) is a bit too high. On the other side Ferries here are "fast" ferries that will bring you to Tangier city center. If you want it cheaper use rather port in Algeciras). But notice that the ferries from Algeciras will only bring you to the big port Tanger Med wich is located 40 km east of Tangier.

99% of trucks use port Algeciras, but hitch them there can be very hard. Most of them only take trailers to the port. For more informations see Algeciras.
