I (Hippietrail) found it very fast and easy and corruption-free to walk across the border from Vama Veche, Romania into Bulgaria. I crossed about 4pm on a hot sunny Tuesday in summer. There were only a couple of cars and a bus crossing at the time and it took only 5 to 10 minutes to get my passport stamped. There were no fees at all and no problems for being on foot. I did have a hard time getting a ride but after walking about 5 km into Bulgaria somebdy drove me out of their way just to be nice. — 88.203.198.81 09:16, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
