"sjRIDESHARE" is a program recently established on the San Juan Islands of Washington State. This program aims to provide safer pullouts for hitchhikers. In doing so "sjRIDESHARE" promotes community and reduces fuel consumption. Check out their website at http://www.sjrideshare.org/
