:''We (a couple - man and woman) traveled for more than a week in Luxembourg, almost all by thumb. No difference between TO the capital [[Luxembourg_(City)|Luxembourg_(City)]] or OUT of it. We got a lift always in less than 15 minutes, even after sunset. Twice, even when we were three. Luxembourg is a very expensive country. Restaurants and accommodation are expensive. The cheapest youth hostel in Luxembourg City will be EUR 20 per night. Luxembourg has a huge financial sector - many banks, [[insurance]] companies etc. As an anti-capitalist you may feel a little cold there ;)
