Contributors help create Hitchwiki because we want to encourage people to hitchhike, but we assume that you'll use our advice sensibly and try your best to hitchhike safely. You'll probably be fine, but... well, remember that much of this wiki is just personal opinion, that should be taken at your own risk. Above all, think for yourself and have fun :)
This wiki was made mostly by males. In their enthusiasm they might not have given the right attetion to the factual higher risks for female hitchhikers ;)
