To travel east of Duluth, take the #3 bus from Duluth to Proctor. Walk along Hwy 2 to the eastern edge of town to catch the eastbound traffic. Not a lot of vehicles on Hwy 2, but more so than anywhere north of Minneapolis and a prettier route than I-94.
