Hitchhiking out
East towards Copenhagen
Option 1
If you follow 150 towards the E20 (takes about half an hour from the town centre) the on ramp has space to for a car to stop. It’s a casual intersection so the cars go slowly and often are waiting, so there is plenty of time for them to see you. This spot may work for other directions as well, but it hasn’t been recorded.
Alternative
There's a big highway rest place (Rasteplads - Antvorskov Syd), you can walk there on foot from the city, it's not far. There's a big park next to it with a shelter if you get there late and need to sleep over, also free toilets. You can just ask people there for a ride. I got a ride very quickly (31.8.2024)
West towards Odense
Similarly to Rasteplads - Antvorskov Syd, there's a highway rest spot on the other side of the highway.
