Port-aux-Basques is the city at the westernmost point of the Trans-Canada Highway in Newfoundland and Labrador. It is also where the ferry from North Sydney (Nova Scotia) comes in and departs. The scenery is beautiful, but the town is very small. It is recommended that you at least spend one day sitting on a hill and looking at the scenery.
