Hitchhiking out
West towards San Pedro, Santo Domingo
Go to the Central Parc. Next to it by the church, there is the central bus station. From there are busses going to the first bus station on the road, these are free as it's just a transport to where the people have to change to the right bus for their direction. At the same time it's a good start hitching point, just stand in front or behind it. It's fairly possible to get a direct ride to Santo Domingo.
