About
Grégoire is a hitchhiker currently living in Brussels, Belgium.
So far, he hitchhiked in Belgium, France, Spain, Luxemburg, Germany and The Netherlands. He speaks French, English and Dutch, and some words of Basque and Spanish.
He discovered hitchhiking in group around July 2001, but really started in June 2009 and did about 7000 km since then.
Personal records
- Longest distance on one day: about 800 km in France on my way back from Bilbao.
- Shortest wait: Zero second, often. The two conditions are: being at the right place, smiling.
- Fastest lift: From the Feldberg to Seesen at the average speed of 150 km/h in a Mercedes Viano (618 kilometers).
- Worst waiting time: 8 hours in Bilbao by 34°C in the sun.
Projects
Going without a destination and achieve a Sophie Calle-inspired photographic and literary project, based on the drivers's favorite places in the world.
