Taftan

Taftan is a town in Pakistan, close to the border with Iran.

There are quite a few trucks departing from the Iranian border towards Quetta. However, as a foreigner (and especially a girl) you get an armed escort that follows you everywhere and would not allow you to hitchhike. There are around 4 checkpoints between Taftan and Quetta and several areas of Taliban activity.
