The '''{{FULLPAGENAMEE}}Dallas - Fort Worth''' metroplex is a city massive metropolitan area in North [[CountryTexas]], and is the 4th largest metropolitan area in the [[USA|US]]. The Metroplex covers an area of 8,675 mi² (22,468 km²), and its sheer size can present a real challenge from a hitchhiking perspective. An other issue that seems to be unique to Texas are the freeway frontage roads. In more urbanized areas it can be really hard to find safe areas for traffic to pull off and pick up hitchhikers.
