:Hey, yeah it's a bit tricky at the beginning, but you will get used to it quite fast ;) You can send messages to users via the ''discussion'' button at the top of a user page. there just click <tt>edit</tt> or better the <tt>+</tt> for adding a message :) On all articles you can add your information by clicking the edit button and filling in some stuff then in the textbox.
