Just after Roadhouse 440 is a road leading away from the highway into a residential area, which you can follow down for about 1km through the houses, across a park, over a sand dune/bushland and down to the beach. There is a shower and toilet block, drinking water and a playground (essential of course) at the beach. Walking along the beach a little away from this area there are plenty of little dunes to hide among for the night. The beach is fairly empty at night so you should be fine, though it isn't technically allowed to stay on public beaches so don't be too obvious.{{IsIn|Australia}}
