:::hey, i didn't do any camping out there. I hitched from [[Maribor]] directly to [[Belgrade]] in one day, staying there at some people's home (HC) and then hitched directly towards [[Sofia]] some days later (also within one day). That's not the problem I guess. The most mines, as far as I know, you'll find in the border region around Osijek and in the south of Croatia near Dubrovnik. Just google a bit for information about it. Also, begin this week a couple from [[Maribor]] hitchhiked directly to [[Istanbul]] with a Turkish truck driver. Maybe an idea ;) ? :: Hey, in June 2006 I hitched from Budapest to Belgrade then through Bosnia, up the Croatian coast and then into Slovenia. No dramas. I slept on the side of the road...2 nights in bosnia and I didn't even think of landmines, probably should have. but i'm still alive :P
