Bataysk (Russian: Батайск) is a satellite city of Rostov-on-Don in Russia. Hitchhikers often arrive in the city when traveling from the south of the Russian Federation by train. Hitchhiking out
East towards the A135
- On foot, use the pedestrian bridge over the railway tracks eastwards, about 2 km. First go along Molokova Street through a private housing area, then through a block of apartment buildings. You can hitchhike at the triangle near the entrance to Vorovskogo St. 65G.
- Take bus 6A to Leningradskaya Street, then walk to the highway near the "Yuzhny" waterpark. You can hitchhike either at the entrance to the "Zhemchuzhnaya" hotel or near the truck parking lot just to the south.
Towards Voronezh and Krasnodar via M4
- "Salskoye Ring" junction. There is a police post, but the highway to Rostov passes over a flyover. You will need to hitchhike at the junction or on the acceleration lane.
