There are buses towards the edge of the city. I think they were , maybe 10, 12 and 14 , but make sure to check. Get off at the 2nd big second large roundabout with big flags in the middle, where you will see a conveniently located OMV garagepetrol station. Here you can ask for a lift or stand outside with a sign.

Ask somebody a local for directions to the intersection of the streets ''Chataldja/'' and ''Todor Alexandrov intersectionboul.''. About 50 meters  m south of the intersection on the street ''Todor Alexandrov boul. '' (recognisable by the "Созопол 24км" "/ Sozopol 24km" signs) there is the easiest hitch a hitchhiking spot I've ever used. There's space , where there are trees for shade and room for the cars to stop and shady trees. Average time - 5-10 minutes.
