The best spot to hitchhike towards the East is can be found at a former busstop on the intersection of the 'Ringbaan Oost' and 'Ringbaan Zuid'. Take either the bus 141 towards Best towards the and get out at stop 'Kempenbaan' or take bus 3 to and get out at 'Lourdestraat'. There are traffic lights there and enough space for cars to stop.
