It is important to not throw away food because:<br>-A lot of effort goes into producing food. People's labour to grow it, water and energy, transportation across the country, the work of people who cook it and put it on the table. It is a big shame to waste all this energy and to disrespect all these people's work.<br>
-Many people in the world don't have access to food and are hungry.
Almost half of the food produced in the world is thrown away. We try to do our part to make it a little bit less.
