* You are not allowed to pass to border to Russia if you are not of the nationality of one of the [[Commonwealth of Independent States|CIS]] nations or have a special permission.

There are official sources that say that this is not the case anymore and it is possible now to cross the border if you are Non CIS passport holder. Please check the discussion page for details.
