The on-ramp at '''Herleshausen''' onto the [[A4 (Germany)|A4]] headed east has a spot for you to stand, and cars can stop. There's pretty low traffic, though - around 0,6 cars per minute, and a lot of those only go to [[Eisenach]], which might at least get you a ride to the service area there.
