I'm a 30-something Dutch hitchhiker.
I live in [[Doetinchem]], [[Netherlands]] but I usually start hitchhiking on the [[A3 (Germany)|A3]] near Emmerich. I mainly hitchhike for vacations, but want to get into the habit of hitching for daytrips as well.
Modus operandi:
I'm a gas station exit dweller, as I believe that people that want to help will stop anyways. I prefer hitching without signs, but always carry a home made whiteboard.
